Every fall the leaves in New England change and I am once again reminded why I live here! I can’t imagine life without the crisp air, the ‘it’s not quite cold enough for a jacket’ weather, pumpkin EVERYTHING and the amazing colors in the trees. I was born on the first day of fall! This is why fall weddings in New England are special to me.
The second reason this Maine wedding is special to me, the bride was the first model I ever photographed! We’ve worked together many times and I was honored that she chose me to photograph her wedding day! I was also so happy she found a wonderful man in Brent.
It was my first time at ‘A Barn‘ in Dayton, Maine. What a beautiful venue for a rustic, private, barn Maine wedding! The foliage reflecting on the pond was a wedding photographer’s dream! Made for a perfect backdrop and compliment to all the hand made wedding decorations, favors and centerpieces made by the bride and her family. So much work went into making this day special, memorable and ‘theirs’.
Spoiler! Her dad made me cry 😉 Have a look…
